Terms & Conditions/Reservation Agreement

Red Tie Transit is dedicated to giving our customers exceptional service in clean and comfortable vehicles. The Terms and Conditions Agreement list the terms of the agreement between you (“client”) and Red Tie Transit for purchasing airport and point-to-point private car, stretch limousine and all other services that we provide. By completing a reservation via online/email or with our office staff, you agree to accept the terms and conditions of this Agreement to become a registered traveler with Red Tie Transit.

Modifications: If we change this Agreement, we shall post a revised version of this Agreement online and include it on all future reservation confirmations sent, and shall automatically replace the terms of this Agreement. Your continued use of the Services following Red Tie Transit posting of a revised Agreement will constitute your acceptance of the revised Agreement. If you do not agree with the terms of this Agreement or any revised version of this Agreement, do not continue to use the services. Signed contracts will be grandfathered and not subject to new terms and conditions revisions. New contracts will be subject to the latest terms and conditions posted online on our website and sent with every reservation confirmation.

To make your time with us an enjoyable one, we ask for your cooperation with the following:

Alchohol/Drug Consumption For the safety of our passengers and drivers, Red Tie Transit drivers reserve the right to refuse transportation to individuals, who, in the express opinion of the company and its drivers, exhibit irrational behavior and/or belligerence. Red Tie Transit prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages inside company vehicles. This policy applies to sedans, suv’s, passenger and vans. Alcohol is permitted in the Stretch Limousines by person of Legal (21) drinking age. Passengers will be asked to please consume their beverages prior to entering the vehicle. Red Tie Transit will strictly enforce State and Federal Laws and will maintain a zero tolerance compliance policy that no alcoholic beverages can be consumed or used by any person not of legal (21) drinking age. No person shall bring contraband or illegal substances aboard vehicles that are owned or operated by Red Tie Transit. Person(s) under the age of 21 is/are prohibited from consuming any type of alcoholic beverages. Chauffeur has every right to search the bags inside the vehicle for illegal substances at any time. If the Chauffeur finds any illegal substance, we reserve the right to terminate the contract at that moment and it will be the clients’ responsibility to make his/her own transportation arrangements at that point. Red Tie Transit will never leave minors stranded and the vehicle will wait onsite until all minors are pick-up by their parent(s), legal guardian and/or responsible party (adult). The full amount of the reservation will be billed, plus any additional applicable wait time charges; absolutely no refunds will be issued.

Liability

Red Tie Transit will not be responsible for injuries that may occur due to horse playing while the vehicle is in motion or at a standstill. Red Tie Transit shall not be held responsible for late arrival caused by (but not limited to) acts of nature, traffic delays, breakdown, incorrect pickup and drop-off information, and any situation beyond our control. We also reserve the right to make trip adjustments or cancellations due to inclement weather. To ensure our customers are comfortable during their transportation, we abide by a strict passenger-count policy: Each vehicle has an allotted maximum capacity, and drivers are instructed not to allow this number of passengers to be exceeded at any point during the service. Rates given or listed on our website do not include gratuity, meet and greet services, tolls, stops, parking fees, or wait time. Red Tie Transit is not responsible for items left, lost, or stolen from its vehicles during or after services, but will do its best to ensure the security of its passengers and their belongings. The purchaser of the contract is responsible for his or her guests. Upon determination that any of the above policies were violated, Red Tie Transit may terminate service to the client and shall be deemed to have fulfilled its contractual obligations to the client under the agreement.

Airport Transfer Rates:

The Company provides a flat rate, known as the “Basic Airport Transfer” rate for airport pickups and drop-offs servicing most major airports. The Basic Airport Transfer rate is based upon a pickup and drop-off without any associated delay or waiting time exceeding fifteen (30) minutes for domestic flights and forty- five (45) minutes for international flights. Your reserved vehicle is dispatched according to the flight’s estimated time of arrival as provided to the Company by each respective airline’s automated system (Company is not responsible for any delays caused by the airline’s automated system or otherwise). Billing shall revert to the additional wait time policy, in the event the Client is delayed, or the waiting time is exceeded, beyond the allotted fifteen (30) minutes. Airport rates are for point-to point transfers, any deviations and stops that differ from the booked trip will result in fees being added to the bill.

MEET LOCATION: Look for the Red Tie Transit Vehicle in designated meet location. You will be contacted with Chauffeur's name and number with instructions for Airport Transfers. Any difficulty locating your chauffeur please call the number you were given or our office at 910-691-1600. Leaving your pick up location without notifying us will result in a No Show charge.

POLICIES, DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS & MISC. SERVICE FEES The driver gratuity is discretionary for Airport Transfers. Clients can choose to give gratuity directly to the driver in the car at the time of the service or it can be preset on the reservation and charged to the credit card provided. For large groups, Airport or Non Airport, and hourly reservations a 20% gratuity is added to your quoted total at the time of booking. Our rates factor in all fees associated with the service including tolls, parking, fuel, and airport fees we may incur. All bookings require a credit card on file. Vehicles booked by the hour require a deposit. All service charges are applied to the credit card provided at the time of the booking and a payment receipt will be emailed automatically the next business day.

Early Bird & After Hours Reservations: Reservations between 11:00pm – 6:00am incur an additional $20.00 charge

Complimentary Wait Policy

15 minute complimentary wait on all residential & office pick-ups
30 minute complimentary wait on all domestic arrivals from gate arrival time
45 minute complimentary wait on all international arrivals from gate arrival time

Additional Wait & Extra Stops Policy

Additional wait time is billed in 5 minute increments at $5.00.
Additional stops are billed at $10.00 per stop. Higher rates may apply based on actual distance.
Additional stop fee applicable to multiple terminal pick up/ drop-offs at the airport at $10.00 Baggage Claim Meets are billed an additional $20.00 fee.

HOLIDAY: Holiday fees enable us to offer service on holidays. The charge offers our chauffeurs an incentive to be available on holidays. Without it, we simply could not offer service on those days. The holiday charge is a $25 additional charge and is applied on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve.

Damage Fees:
$ 300.00 minimum per damaged seat
$ 200.00 minimum per damaged carpet
$ 500.00 minimum per damaged mirror (Limousine)
$ 150.00 minimum for extensive cleanup (spills, etc.)
$ 50 for a gum in the carpet clean up
$ 250.00 minimum for each act of vandalism
$ 250.00 minimum shampoo and disinfecting
$ 150.00 detailing and wax (due to sickness-exterior)

$ 500.00 minimum for each burn hole, rip or tear to upholstery
$ 250.00 per incident of smoking inside of the vehicle, ride will be terminated after second incident. (Smoking will not be tolerated)
$ 300.00 minimum opening a vehicle door into another vehicle or stationary object (It is advised to allow your chauffeur to open your door)

It is important to remember that inciting others to cause damage to the vehicle will result in charges for the damages that occur. Example yelling insults at pedestrians from the vehicle, any damage caused by the other party will be your responsibility.

This is not an exclusive list; any and all damages caused to the vehicle and or including loss of revenues for downtime during repairs can and will be charged to the credit card used to book this service. If there is not enough room on the credit card to satisfy the damages, Red Tie Transit reserves the right to file suit in a Moore County to recover the losses.

HOURLY TRIPS/DINNER SERVICES/GROUP VAN/LIMO AIRPORT & POINT TO POINT: A $100 Deposit is required per Vehicle for hourly reservations and Group point to Point reservations. Red Tie Transit cannot guarantee the availability of overtime on hourly rentals,it is of particular importance that the purchaser makes allowances for anticipated delays and adheres to the agreed time schedule. In the event that the purchaser wants to change the time of the itinerary, they may do so, only if Red Tie Transit can accommodate other clients that booked with us prior to or after the said time. If applicable, the purchaser further agrees to pay additional charges incurred such as overtime, tolls, parking etc. The purchaser authorizes Red Tie Transit to charge any additional charges or fees on the purchaser’s credit card on file or direct bill account.

Dinner Services or Group Point to Point (Golf outings, Meetings etc.) a return pickup time must be set, however, time can be modified if driver is notified 30 minutes to 1 hour in advance depending on location as long as vehicle is not previously booked for another client. Delay fees will apply for any wait time beyond scheduled pickup time. Any additional stops other than previously booked will result in additional stop fees.

Shuttle Services: We require a coordinator to be provided by the customer as well as coordinator’s cellular phone number where we can be in touch during the shuttle service. The coordinator or the customer will be the sole party responsible for coordinating with the drivers and directing the passengers to the vehicles during the shuttle service. You acknowledge that the turnaround time may be longer than anticipated due to traffic conditions. Due to heavy traffic at pick up and drop off locations, failure of the coordinator in his/her duties may cause passenger to not properly locate the shuttle service. If the coordinator cannot be reached at time of service, Red Tie Transit will not be responsible for any damages or delays.

Red Transit guarantees that all our vehicles are constantly checked to keep the highest possible standards. Red Tie agrees to send the requested vehicle as offered in the contract. We have the right to upgrade the vehicles or switch the vehicles in case of emergency breakdown or if vehicles were in accidents. As stated, this will only happen in case of emergencies. No additional charges will occur on the customer side if upgrade is made without customer request. If switching occurs in the same category, or upgrades are made, it will not affect the contract and/or payment of contract. Customer therefore accepts that replacement vehicle may be substituted if contracted vehicle becomes unavailable for any reason. If any of our above guarantees or contracted terms cannot be met due to conditions outside of our control, including weather, accidents, storms and any other circumstance, including, but not limited to, traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, flight delays, etc., we will use reasonable efforts to notify the customer of these conditions and resulting delays or changes.

CANCELLATION AND CHANGES: To change or cancel a reservation, please call reservations at 910-691-1600. Cancellations must be received at least 6 hours in advance for Airport transfers and up to 48 hours in advance for hourly reservations.

Airport & Non-Airport One-way Transfer Cancellations for Sedans, Suv’s & Standard Passenger Vans

Cancellations within 3 hours of your scheduled pick-up time are billed at 50% of the quoted service fee.

Pick-up time modifications within 2 hours of the original scheduled pick-up time are subject to a late cancellation (50%) or subject to wait-time charges.

The FULL FARE and chauffeur gratuity will be charged for cancellations in the two following cases:

I. Cancellation after the driver has already been dispatched.

II. If the passenger fails to be at the designated pickup location (no-show). If for any reason you cannot locate your chauffeur, call Red Tie Transit at 910-691-1600 to avoid being billed as a no-show, do not leave your location without contacting us. You must contact us by phone.

Airport & Non-Airport One-Way Transfer Cancellations for Vans & Limousines Cancellations within 48 hours of your scheduled pick-time will be charged the full service charge quoted.

SPECIAL EVENT CANCELLATION: All "special events" (weddings, concerts, proms, golf groups, etc.) have a 7 day minimum cancellation requirement. Any cancellation received within the 7 day period will be charged half of the remaining balance and cancellations within 48 hours will be paid in full upon cancellation. Proms: All prom reservations are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled. The full fare will be charged even if the service is not completed at the request of the passenger.

Deposits & Cancellations Deposits are non-refundable.

Refund Policy Any and all reimbursements due back to the client from deposits and/or for any other reason will be issued back to the credit card provided.

We accept reservations online via email and by phone. By giving Red Tie Transit verbal or written authorization for services and providing your credit card information, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and agree to pay the deposit and/or entire contract price based on the terms of the cancellation policy. Red Tie Transit reserves the right to charge the full contract amount 24 hours prior to the date of service. You are agreeing to Red Tie Transit charging your credit card for any of the following charges: deposit, all services rendered, and any damages done to the vehicle. Any overtime hours or fees as a result of damage to the vehicle will be calculated and billed within 72 hours of the completion of the service. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied with the services that you receive, you have 24 hours after the completion of the job to notify Red Tie Transit and file a complaint in writing. If Red Tie Transit does not receive my written complaint in the above stated time frame, you agree that there is no valid complaint and that you are fully satisfied with the services received and will not file any complaint against Red Tie Transit with any official bureaus or online consumer website. The purchaser will be contacted within 24 hours of the complaint to address concerns in an effort to settle the matter. Should Red Tie Transit prevail in any dispute, whether in arbitration or court, including obtaining a dismissal in court, Customer agrees to pay all of Red Tie Transit’s costs and fees. “Costs and fees” means all reasonable pre-award expenses of the arbitration or litigation, including the arbitrators fees, administrative fees, travel expenses, out -of-pocket expenses such as copying and telephone, court costs, witness fees and attorneys fees.
